PLEASE NOTE: |
Question #3: "Amending the United States Constitution to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman", question #4: "Permitting healthcare professionals to opt out of performing procedures that violate their moral or religious beliefs (which would allow doctors to turn away LGBTQ patients or pharmacists to refuse to fill prescriptions for people with HIV or going through gender reassignment) and question #8: "Adding "sexual orientation," "gender identity," or "gender expression" to the protected classes of race, religion, age, sex, and ancestry in antidiscrimination law." and question #13: "Repealing the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which states that marriage is the union of one man and one woman and declares states do not have to recognize same-sex marriages from other states." This question purposely confuses in typical CAP fashion in that the recognition of other states marriages is via interstate compact, an agreement among states and NOT DOMA. |
