Republican Heather Carter
was a member of the Arizona State Senate,
representing District 15. She assumed office
in 2019. She left office on January 10,
2021. Carter ran for re-election to the
Arizona State Senate to represent District
15. She lost in the Republican primary on
August 4, 2020. Carter is a former member of
the Arizona House of Representatives,
representing District 15 from 2011 to 2019.
Carter was unable to run for re-election in
2018 to the Arizona House of Representatives
because of term limits.
