Lawmaker Seeks To
Ensure If Trump Off
Arizona Ballot,
Biden Would Be As
Well |
"A Marana lawmaker
wants to ensure that
if Donald Trump is
knocked off the
Arizona ballot, the
same would happen to
Joe Biden. The
proposal by
Republican Rep.
Cory McGarr
spells out that if
the nominee for
president from
either major party
is disqualified from
the 2024 ballot,
then the name of the
other party’s choice
“shall not be
printed on the
ballot in this
state.” And if it’s
too late to keep the
name off the ballot,
the legislation says
that “any votes for
that nominee or that
nominee’s electors
shall not be tallied
or included in any
canvass.” |

Arizona Lawmaker Seeks To Remove Biden From
2024 Ballot |
"A Republican lawmaker
is planning to file legislation in a
long-shot bid to remove President Joe Biden
from the 2024 ballot in Arizona" [ . . .] "McGarr
said it’s retaliation for Colorado and Maine
booting former President
Donald Trump from the ballot in their
states." [ . . . ] "While McGarr has not
filed legislation, his campaign is raising
money off of his proposal to remove
President Biden. “The real insurrection is
NOT what we saw on January 6th, 2021. The
real insurrection is what’s happening at the
border right now,” one of the emails
claimed." |

This bill, had it become law, would be the same as laws covering a cabaret but with
the words "drag
show" instead of "cabaret". This is simply a sneaky attempt to
outlaw drag shows. |
