Sylvia Allen

 

Republican extremist Sylvia Allen was a member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 6. She assumed office on January 5, 2015. She left office on January 10, 2021. Allen ran for re-election to the Arizona State Senate to represent District 6. She lost in the Republican primary on August 4, 2020. Allen served as state Senate president pro tempore. She represented District 5 in the state Senate from June 2008 to 2013. She served as chair for the Navajo County Republican Party from 2000 to 2005.

PLEASE NOTE:  A "Yes" vote would allow ranch dogs to be neglected or abandoned, killed and tortured. It would allow the owner of a ranch dog to inflict unnecessary injury to the animal and not provide medical attention.

*SB 1365 would have allowed a doctor to refuse to treat a person who was LGBTQ or allow a waitress or waiter to refuse service to a person who was LGBTQ simply by saying it was against their sincerely held religious beliefs to treat or serve a queer person.
