Requires law enforcement officials or agencies of the state, during any lawful contact made by the official or agency, to make a "reasonable attempt" to determine the immigration status of an individual if "reasonable suspicion" exists that the individual is an undocumented immigrant, and requires the individual's immigration status be verified by the federal government before they are released (Sec. 2).

Vote to pass a bill that requires a doctor to inform any woman who is at least twenty weeks pregnant and seeks an abortion that the unborn child/fetus will experience pain during the procedure. If the woman has received pain reducing drugs she is required to sign a written statement acknowledging that she has received this information from her doctor. Any physician that violates these provisions commits an act of unprofessional conduct and is subject to license suspension.
