11 Republican Presidential Hopefuls And Their Awful Anti-LGBTQ+ Records
"One of the most anti-LGBTQ+ candidates in the Republican field is former South Carolina governor and Ambassador to the United Nations under Trump, Nikki Haley. She has opposed marriage equality for decades. She voiced that opposition since at least 2004 when she told reporters that she believed in marriage “between a man and a woman.” By 2009, she said that if a same-sex marriage bill crossed her desk as governor, she would veto it. She continued to defend her position throughout her governorship, even after marriage equality was ushered into the state."

Nikki Haley Is Unable To Explain Why Voters Should Pick Her Over Trump
"Nikki Haley’s 2024 presidential campaign isn’t off to a great start, in that no one seems to understand why she’s embarking on what seems to be such a hopeless endeavor. The conservative Wall Street Journal‘s editorial board even wrote on Wednesday that they see “no clear rationale” for her bid to dethrone Donald Trump. If she actually wants to win the Republican nomination, Haley is, first and foremost, going to have to put forth a pretty compelling case as to why she’s a better option than the former president. So far she’s … not doing that."

Nikki Haley’s Shameless Walk On The Trump Tightrope
"Coming out of the extremist Jim DeMint–Mark Sanford wing of the South Carolina GOP, Haley first won the governorship as a Sarah Palin protégée who managed to turn scurrilous sexual allegations against her into a political asset. Her uneven record as governor (one lowlight was a State of the State Address in which she told out-of-state job creators who accepted unions to take their money and shove it) was obscured by her famous call to take down the Confederate flag at the statehouse in 2015, long after any real courage was required to do so."
