Jim Waring

 

Republican Jim Waring is a member of the Phoenix City Council in Arizona, representing District 2. He assumed office in 2011. His term ended on April 17, 2023. Waring ran for re-election to the Phoenix City Council to represent District 2 in Arizona. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Before becoming a member of city council, Waring was a Republican member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 7 from 2003-2010. He resigned from his Senate seat on January 28, 2010, to run for the U.S. House of Representatives
