Jay Tibshraeny

 

Republican Jay Tibshraeny was a judge for San Marcos District of the Maricopa County Justice Court in Arizona. Tibshraeny assumed office in 2019. Tibshraeny left office on December 31, 2022. Tibshraeny ran for election for the San Marcos District judge of the Maricopa County Justice Court in Arizona. Tibshraeny won in the general election on November 6, 2018. Tibshraeny was the mayor of Chandler, Arizona from 2011 to 2019. He previously served as mayor from 1994 to 2002. Tibshraeny is a former member of the Arizona State Senate, representing District 21 from 2003 to 2011. He served as the planning and zoning commissioner for the City of Chandler in 1980 and on the Chandler City Council from 1986 to 1994. He was vice mayor of Chandler from 1990 to 1994.
