Mr. Darrow, above, is correct, up to a point. Democrats DO campaign on education funding and they DO vote against the Republican sponsored bills. The Republican majority Arizona House and Senate are loathe to even hear a Democrat sponsored bill so they seldom make it to the floor and even less often come up for a vote. The education bills brought forward by the Republicans are mostly in support of Charter Schools rarely supporting Public Schools and are so not supported by Democrats. Mr. Darrow is aware of this.
