Republican Scott September was a member of the Gilbert City Council in Arizona. He assumed office in 2020. He left office on January 10, 2023. September ran for re-election to the Gilbert City Council in Arizona. He lost in the primary on August 2, 2022. September was appointed to the seat by the city council in April of 2020 after his predecessor Brigette Peterson stepped down from the council to run for mayor.
